Camping on the sea; Seakips lifeboat in Rathlin harbour lets you experience the sea without the need for nautical experience. Rest and invigorate on Rathlin Island taking in the sights, sounds and the sea! Enjoy the waves lapping and the gentle rocking ease you to sleep each night.

A unique on-board experience. A former oil-rig lifeboat converted for guests to camp on the sea in Rathlin. We have tried to make your sea-camping experience as comfortable as possible. Some things are included, some things you must bring. The boat has the equivalent of two small doubles; comfy, but snug.  It is equipped with: kitchenette with fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle and basic kitchen items (plates, cups, etc). There is a limited supply of fresh water that is easily refillable and heating to keep you dry & warm. We provide portable lights to get you to land (though the pontoons are lit) and there are outlets for charging, radios, small electronics, etc in the lifeboat.  We provide pillows on each bunk; however, please bring your own bedding, towels & toiletries. Please note, like traditional camping, shower and toilet facilities are in the Marina Facilities on the beach, 230 steps from boat.
